Would you like to make your weekly food budget go further? A weekly shop, such as those in the images, costs as little as £4 at our community larders in Towcester and Roade.
Many households are now struggling financially with the Universal Credit uplift ending, changes in employment due to furlough stopping, fuel shortages and general price increases.
Our community larders operate a membership programme that provides access to surplus groceries (store cupboard and refrigerated items, fruit and vegetables) at heavily discounted rates. The food we rescue is saved from landfill and helps stop food waste. The larders are run by volunteers who are committed to getting affordable food to our communities and are open to everyone.
Why not come along, meet the team and find out more about how to make your money go further?
